We've been serving the greater Amherst/Souhegan Valley community with quality Chiropractic care since 1997.
As a Chiropractor, I am aware that many of my patients may have common diagnosis; however I do realize that everyone responds to treatment differently. For this reason, I will tailor a specific plan of action to meet your healthcare needs and goals.
Our approach is simple. Your most valuable possession is your health and in most cases, our first meeting is due to your lost health. But our commitment for your healthcare is viewed upon four paths which can easily become the same the road.
These paths are: Acute/Relief Care, Corrective Care, Strengthening Care and Wellness Care
Initially when pain is involved in bringing the patient into our office, the first and most emphasized goal is the Acute/Relief Care. So that becomes the first path on the road toward wellness that we travel on. The patient's Chiropractic care involves a series of visits, with each one building on the ones before. As we stabilize the acute situation, we continue to educate the patient on the underlying causes for what brought them into our office for care.
We thoroughly discuss the approach to Wellness Care once the patient had attained significant Relief Care. It is important to understand that it is easier to stay well than to get well and ongoing corrective and maintenance care can be the insurance for the patient in minimizing the reoccurence of injury. We want our patients to be movtivated in taking a more active and responsible role in restoring and maintaining their health. As with dental care, it is too late to start brushing your teeth after a cavity has presented itself. We are taught to brush minimally twice a day to maintain good oral health and that same concept applies directly to Chiropractic's approach to wellness in that regularly scheduled adjustments allows patients to maintain an active lifestyle while minimizing on pain, sickness and disease.
But bottom line, you're in charge of your healthcare and we will work with you in the best manner possible for you to achieve your health goals and hopefully continue the wellness road to good health. It's up to you to decide how much your health is worth to you and your decision on the amount of time, money and energy you are willing to invest into you. Chiropractic's natural approach without the use of medications or surgeries to restore your well-being can open a new world of YOU that you forgot was YOU!
